July to October

Quick update on what i did from July 2009 to October 2009
underwent coaching in crackverbal , it was good .
prepared hard till August 27 th for GMAT . finally managed 640 .
I realise there is no fault with preparation but problem was with execution on the
D-day . I was hibernation in september and trying to come out of it in october .
I have decided to give GMAT on last week of Nov , so there is not much time left .
going for Kill .........

July 20th --- 24th RC Quizes OG

July 27th ---31st og quant


Aug 3rd ---- 7th 1000 series

Aug 10th ---14th 1000 series

Aug 16th --- Go or No-Go


PS : 2 test min every week

45 days to go !

I have 45 days to go ....
I am planning do the following excersies

SC -> OG 11 + Bellcurves + 1000 SC

RC -> OG11 + Bellcurves + 1000RC

CR -> OG11 + Bellcurves + 1000CR

Test -> 8 bellcurves + 2 Power prep + 6 Manhattan

I am taking GMAT on 27th Aug . I have exactly 45 days to go .

Till date I have completed Drills+ homeworks of SC and CR .
My accuracy till date has been
SC -> 50 to 60 % ( mostly able to find three wrong answer options , but confusing in last two )
CR -> 70 to 80 %

Now I am planning to prepare a schedule for Remaining days , I wanted your advise .
which of the below would be better approach to prepare ? ( I have around 6 hours per day to prepare )
1) prepare only SC on first day , second day CR completely and RC on the third day
or
2) prepare SC for 2 hours , RC for 2 hours and CR for 2 days .

what about the order of material ?
which would be better
1) complete BC , then start 1000 series , then OG
or
2) better to do mix of all of them


apart from this I have taken few decisions to spend my time on preparation with more discipline , which will involve few personal scarifices . let me see if i can stick to them .

yeah ! I am back with a bang :) .
I have completed Crackverbal course .
booked GMAT appointment on Aug 27th .
targetting Q51 , V40 .
CR preparation was good , started of with SC . hope i will do good :)
RC is one area which i need to improve a lot :( .
anyways let me see how it goes ......

Logical Conclusion !!!

I will give a logical Conclusion to this year MBA chase . I am not joinning any of the B-schools this year . My immediate plan s to re-take GMAT ASAP and Target US B-schools /UK Bschools/Great lakes / ISB . let me work on my profile . I wish www.lastmonk.com will be succesful . I will start blogging only after I begin my GMAT preparation .

Great Lakes GD/PI prep

thank god ! i at last got interview call from atleast one B-school :) . my GD/PI is on 21st Feb ( next week ) . i have not prepared anything till now . doing some research on the school . i will take printout of my essays and start preparing from now atleast :) . this weekend although TIME was giving coaching for GD/PI , i did not go , hope i will not regret for it in future .

will GreatLakes .... ??

Will Greatlakes shortlist me ? Initially I thought GreatLakes as a back-up , but after doing some research , i found Great lakes as a very good institute with a bright future , now the problem is will they consider me :) . As it is my Essay writing i found it lot difficult , i guess i have done a decent job except the essay "Character comes out in crisis " .
now my future plan incase GLAKES does not take me , I will have start looking for other options i guess Crackverbal or princeton would be good enough . I have started researching about lancaster , hope Chopras consultancy people will not be angry on me as i have not responded to them for a while .
